Michael Garcia Spring

Michael Garcia Spring é autor de quatro livros de poesia e um livro infantil, tendo recebido numerosos prémios e distinções pela sua poesia, incluindo o Robert Graves Award 2004, uma menção honrosa pelo Eric Hoffer Book Award 2012, o Turtle Island Poetry Award 2013, a Bolsa FLAD Luso-Americana do Projecto DISQUIET International 2016 e uma menção honrosa pelo Green Book Festival Award 2017. Michael é instrutor de artes marciais, editor de poesia da The Pedestal Magazine e fundador da editora Flowstone Press. Actualmente vive na região montanhosa do estado do Oregon, nos EUA.

Michael Garcia Spring is the author of four previous poetry books and one children’s book. He’s won numerous awards and distinctions for his poetry, including the 2004 Robert Graves Award, an honorable mention for the 2012 Eric Hoffer Book Award, the 2013 Turtle Island Poetry Award, a 2016 Luso-American FLAD Fellowship from DISQUIET International, and an honorable mention for the 2017 Green Book Festival Award. Michael is a martial art instructor, a poetry editor for The Pedestal Magazine, and founding editor of Flowstone Press. He currently lives on a mountainside in rural Oregon, USA.
